The Northeast Tennessee Workforce Investment Board administered by Alliance for Business and Training, (AB&T) received a Work Incentive Grant (DOLETA) through July, 2003 -June, 2005. Due to this Grant, Freedom to Work has augmented existing services for individuals with disabilities by implementing strategies resulting in self-sustaining employment and career advancement for individuals with disabilities through participation in the Northeast TN One-Stop/Career Center system.

Freedom to Work provides an infrastructure and service delivery system that will be valued as a provider of choice for individuals with disabilities seeking workforce assistance.

   Freedom to Work has developed comprehensive

   strategies that include the incorporation of:

 * Strategic Partnership and Coalition Development

 * Enhanced Assistive and Accessible Technologies

 * Freedom to Work Network Staff Positions

 * One-Stop/Career Center Staff Development

 * Leveraged Direct Services.
